- Open the McAfee antivirus software , as soon as you open it, it will ask you to sign in for future access. If you already have used McAfee antivirus before on your phone or on other device with an account so sign in with that , if not then you have to create an account first.
- For creating the new account go to the setting option after opening the software . After that click on My info option and then click on My Account. Setting option – My info option – My Account
- It will open a page and will ask for your email address write down the email and then click next option then a new page will open up and will ask you to create a password. - This will activate your McAfee antivirus and you don’t have to activate it again an again but make sure you remember your email I’d and password as it will be require for logging in.
After activation you need to verify your subscription just to sync your software and your account.

- In your window desktop at the bottom there is a notification area from there click on the McAfee icon and choose verify subscription
- Verification will take some time and after it is completed your account information will get sync to your subscription information and will be up to date .
- You can verify your subscription information any time with the help of your account and can renew it before it expires.
