  • In July 2019, KME has acquired Tréfimétaux SAS, a French company that carries out it’s copper tubes and copper rods businesses at Givet and Niederbrück plants, respectively, for USD 2.2 million. Besides, Tréfimétaux SAS controls Serravalle Copper Tubes S.r.l., an Italian company engaged in the manufacturing of copper tubes at the plant located in Serravalle Scrivia. The annual turnover of Tréfimétaux SAS is over USD 240 million. This acquisition will help KME to establish its presence in Europe.
  • In April 2019, Wieland merged with Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc, while acquiring all the shares of GBC. This merger will help the company to diversify the product offerings throughout copper and copper alloy strips and sheets, foils, rods, wires, tubes, and fabricated components, serving a wide variety of industries.
  • In February 2019, KME acquired MKM Mansfelder Kupfer und Messing GmbH for USD 88 million and provides MKM 1% shareholding in KME SE.
